How To Easily Manage Atlanta Allergy

By Adam G. Trettin

Although spring is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year, for some people, it is also one of the most frustrating. The blooming of all the flowers leads to running noses, teary eyes and sore throats, which are all symptoms of Atlanta allergy. Since it is not possible to hide in bed till the season ends, there are some ways to make the symptoms less severe.

Before you start taking medications for something, you first need to identify what you are allergic to. It might be pollen, dust mites, or even you trusty pet. Once you know what the problem, is you can easily find a way to avoid it. You might find that someone has a serious illness, but all along they have been confusing it for an allergy.

You might have a clean and tidy house, but still have dust mites. These animals live in warm humid places and generally, come out at night. On inhaling them, you might get a runny nose, itchy eyes, or a sore throat. Because they live in the mattress, pillow and upholstered furniture, they are hard to track and people rarely even see them.

Fungi like mold reproduce by spores and also live in humid environments. When a person with a mold allergy inhales these spores, their body will react and they will get sick. The best way to deal with these organisms is to make sure your home is not humid. You can use a dehumidifier to remove the moisture form the air.

For people who are irritated by pollen, avoiding it might seem a bit more difficult. You may opt to stay indoors on windy days, and also avoid chores like gardening. If you need to get out, you should carry a pollen mask, to reduce how much of it you end up inhaling. On getting home, you need to shower and change your clothes, to ensure you remove the grains from you skin and hair.

Fur from animals is also something which can act as a trigger. You will be required to make sure your pets are cleaned and brushed regularly, to remove excess fur. It would be wise not to allow them into your bedroom or onto the carpet, because you will end up inhaling the fur left behind.

When it comes to allergies, the best way to avoid triggering a reaction is by staying away from the allergens. However, this may not be possible, for example with pollen. You can therefore go for some tests, then after this you can be given some drugs to alleviate the symptoms.
